About Mike Newman

Mike is a partner at the Fort Smith law firm, Jones, Jackson & Moll, PLC. He focuses his practice on civil litigation, insurance coverage disputes, and appellate practice.

Mike is licensed in Arkansas, Oklahoma, and Missouri.

Mike earned his bachelor’s degree in journalism (1987) and a master’s degree in philosophy (1990) from the University of Arkansas. From 1989 to 1992, Mike completed 67 hours toward a philosophy Ph.D. at the University of Wisconsin-Madison.

Mike earned his J.D. degree from the University of Missouri School of Law (1998). While there, he served as a member of the Journal of Dispute Resolution.

In his free time, Mike likes spending time with his family, walking hiking trails, and working on his hiking website, Arklahoma Hiker.
